. Sorry, but its a lot. Anything that needs chilling or to be packed frozen for a weeks session for one plus ice packs/frozen bottles is no problem. It will stay cold for a week session. Great bit of kit if you regularly fish longer sessions. Overkill for days/short sessions.

I havent tried yet mate but you will get shed loads of food in. 25l is more than big enough if its just food but i like to have a few cans with me so the 40 was a better option. They are very big compared to the actual space you get inside but that is due to the thickness of the walls and the foam insulation which is why there so good. I think the lid is nearly 70mm thick theres that much insulation in it. The walls are about 4 times thicker than the wifes igloo cooler. The dometic is good but no where near in the same league as the icy tech and the icy tech isnt much more than the dometic.

Cool boxes uk who are the sole distributer for icy tech have a cracking looking little 15 litre cool box by iced coolers on there website for pre order if you prefer a smaller compact cool box. Nice stainless handle as well which is a nice touch. It looks very much like the icy tech ones. Not cheap mind at £130 but comes with two gel packs, divider you can slot in and two mesh baskets.
