18-20mm boilies and size 4 hooks will do you fine. Also mesh or plastic shrink wrap your hardened hook baits as the crays can be a nightmare on there. I used the plastic shrink wrap and found it to be excellent, better than meshing with tights IMO. Fish for a bite at a time.

I blanked at the end of October along with the majority of guys our week, although 2 of the guys had a good time. Think I saw one fish roll all week in someone else's swim so that was a bit gutting but am going back at the end of October 2017.

I have just found out that I will be losing my job on the 1st of April and will not be able to ish for a week on the Island Lake starting on the 8th of April.
So a Mick has kindly agreed that I can sell the week on.
