That won't happen mate. It's stoking the fire as per usual in the mail.
Half of the readers probably believed the 5g theory, the other half probably believe because they've had a vaccine or 4 they can't catch or transmit covid.. their comment sections make me amazed there aren't more cutlery mishaps arriving in A & E.
Then there are the ****s who believe the world is just black and white (in a different us and them context that's ALL mail readers) when in fact there is a huge grey area which is real life where all these facts and figures mean diddly squat.

I agree, that's why I said it's bizarre. Surely the criteria for assisted dying is that the individual, their families and a medical professional have decided it's their best option? Not because covid has been added to the list of conditions which you can pay to be killed with, though I'm back at work so I haven't got time to scrutinise the details. link

Don't read crap on the internet or social media as you can assume it's all guff, if it's extreme or far fetched then you can be sure it's bull..... Just read info from what is generally considered reliable information.

I know so many people with covid at the moment, at least 10 from posts of Instagram. Every single one has either no symptoms or a cold. If that's what we're looking at then it's time to drop the vaccine charade and let it rip so everyone has natural immunity.

Agree about the daily rags but to say SAGE are talking guff is simply bull. The advise is based on facts and they need to offer reasonable outcomes depending upon scenarios (best and worse case)... As these are sometimes new developments they can get it a bit wrong but they usually get it a bit right as well, it depends how you want to view the outcome as half full or empty.
You can't fault an advisory group that is advising on new unknown risks, dangers and outcomes when data is limited and evolving daily if not by the hour. On top of this you need to factor in donuts that won't have a vaccination because some fella on social media or down the pub said it's bad for you.... Just look at how these donuts are filling up hospitals now... Nobody in their right mind can say people haven't been advised to have a jab in order to protect themselves and others and it's even good enough for the new one to prevent most cases of serious (hospitalisation) due to covid.

Those links are from (cough) reputable sources and I'm not spreading anything. It's from the paper with one of, if not the biggest readership in the country.
I'm not on nor do I read any form of social media except here, I discuss what I read in the little spare time I have from a few sources of different political leaning.
A forum is a place to discuss different views and ideas, are you saying I can only post what you deem correct and reference links only you deem credible?
As I've said before I'm not pushing anyone to do anything except open your eyes and your mind, I'm pro vaccine in those at high risk of covid complications but if you believe you'll be ok and not pass on the virus having booster shots quarterly or whatever frequency they suggest, fill your boots

How will you explain to people with cancer or other serious ailments that they can't have a life saving operation because the hospital is full with Covid patients?
Take London hospitals as an example already as their overrun already with non vaccinated Covid victims.
Okay, Omicron is (for example) only 50% as bad as Delta (half the number of hospitalisations)..... then you double the case numbers and the hospials are again full, triple the cases and hospitals are having to cancel normal operations and people are dying as a result...
Letting it rip is a bad choice for many, no government can morally do that.
