Do the police not instigate it by approaching them when they're carrying out a legal activity and then continue to break the law themselves resulting in infringing their rights as they clearly do not know it?.
Edit - The police ‘not all as they leave them to carry on to do what they're doing, as they should' are then left with no alternative to do the walk of shame as they haven't a clue of laws, policies etc etc. How worrying is that when they're patrolling the streets they're not knowledgeable themselves of the actual law?.

Mate of mine used to have a similar thing for photos of classic John deere vehicles. He doesn't do it any more

Concerned that they might be recording images of staff and private vehicles the officers can sometimes jump to the conclusion that there is a law to prevent it, which there isn't. Audit ed well worth a watch with his video around town and how badly wrong security, management of the VANS shoe store, enforcement and police officers get it so so wrong is truly astounding. I'm amazed that the manager of that store was not sacked instantly.

When an officer confronts an auditor and says ‘this is a secure building' and the auditor replies ‘what is there to worry about then', priceless.
Appreciate any officers concerns and interactions to find out why but some abuse there powers and infringe on their rights, in some cases being wrongfully detained or arrested.
The officers who feel threatened by an activity that remains legal then they need to bring it to the attention of their MP so it can be discussed in parliament to bring about a change in the law. Not abuse and prevent a photographers right to film.
Some don't even know the correct legislations or in instances any to use......fcuking dimwits.
