Careful what you wish for fella.... I heard on the news that our exports to the EU had fallen by 40% in the months since Brexit. British companies are going to have to find that lost revenue from somewhere so putting up domestic prices is an obvious solution for them.
Although if it's only a 20% increase you are going for then maybe that's the bonus eh?
I think people might well be surprised at the amount of Chinese (or any other foreign country) crap that is part and parcel of your 'made in Britain' items across the board. From small but essential component parts right through to the machinery that is used in manufacturing processes. Obviously not just talking fishing kit here.
My dinner tonight was made in Britain. ........ Using ingredients from India, cooked in pans from France on a hob made in Germany....
