I had the same argument with my brother, earns 60k a year and out there every night feeding the chickens, geese, goats, dog, cat, tortoise, Guinea pigs and poxy parakeet.

What a waste of time. Neighbours must hate him.

A decent pellet gun should sort them out, could even use it on the rats afterwards too

It would have snapped eventually anyway!!

Peanut butter for me. I used to have so many in my shed that id frequently hear a trap go off after setting them before i was out of earshot

I'd frequently set 9 traps and catch 9 mice overnight. The joys of backing onto fields

Then the traps started going missing so i wenr onto poison boxes!

Found 2 dead poisoned rats with my traps still attached to them

These are great. I recently moved one to where I had seen a mouse in my leantoo a couple of days later I found a dead mouse in the middle of the floor about three feet away from the bait.

To me, rats are the most annoying rodents. I've been afraid of them since I was little, and I'm annoyed by both the sound they make and their smell. Recently I even had problems with them on the ceiling of the house. We have a double ceiling, and two rats managed to penetrate between them and were agitated all day and night. They were making noise, gnawing at the pipes and installations. My father tried to get rid of them with poison but without success. Only some pest control specialists who removed the rats from the ceiling solved the problem.
