I wish they would make a few more of them XLR8 shelters which was basically a venture carp razorback, them razorback take some beating, best bivvy system I ever owned

I'm a bit partial to a cyprinus shelter. But I'm racking my brain to think what needs improvement that much on a tempest.

Yes, that's what I thought but a few stories about sitting on the bed hair and your head touching the roof 'scare' me.
I'm not tall, only 1.81m long.
I am 1.83m tall & my head does not touch the roof on my Tempest Brolly V2 (nor did it on the V1 I had before) when sat on either a Fox Flatliter Mk2, Wychwood Tactical or Solar C-Spec.

Well, I would like to see the Cyprinus one too, because I have read so much trouble with the Tempests (block, stitching, leaking, seam tapes coming off, etc).

I heard about someone that when sat on their bedchair in the Advanced Brolly all they could see was the rolled up doorway !!
IMHO they are way too low
Rubbish. I have used all 3 versions of the Tempest Brolly & never sat on a bedchair looking at a rolled up door. You do get that problem with the non-XL Nash Hide though.
I am 6ft tall & never heard so much guff spoken about these shelters from non-owners because they have "heard" something, but never actually experienced them.
