Mine work ok after a fettle. I'll have to get mine out and check the hinges as some report some are better than others. Been ok though

Used mine for the first time the other week. Seem to work well apart from the opening mechanism falling out of one.

My 3 turned up this morning from the link I posted earlier in the thread.
Will be replacing the stem and swivel, other than that, they open well and seem pretty good. Only usage will show how good or bad they are.

Mine came yesterday
One is absolutely spot on but the other doesent close properly, it has a 3-4mm gap round the edge and is a bit offset
Suppose £4 whatever is still good for one decent spomb

If you have a gap then there must be one spot that's proud that's causing that.
See if you can trim it with a knife, you've got nothing to lose

I just had 5 turn up! ( gotta have a spare or 5 for £1.75 a pop!)
I agree that the swivel looks a bit pony and the wire that holds it feels like it's made from chocolate.
How and what are you replacing with?

I replace mine with leadcore and a Korda size 8 swivel spliced on.

Got mine today, £2.20 delivered! Think I'll replace the swivel, guessing it's easy enough once you've cut the shrink wrap off?

Got my 3 today, the swivels are crap so will be changed, I ordered white ones but received black but that's no bother. Other than that all looks good
I ordered a couple months back, I don't know what all the hype is about I had one shatter when hitting the water and the other has a 5mm gap around the body.
Back to the originals for me.

Got mine yesterday, look fine to me no gap! swivel shiny but gave the swivel a good tug fine, pressed button they open oK.
Now that's Christmas presents sorted, going to write spomb on side and give to fishing buddies pmsl!!

If you had one shatter then it can't be anything like the ones I got.
IMO the hype is the overly priced 'named' version
