Just an update after numerous nights under this brolly / bivvy system ( not the compact). I've used it mainly as a brolly, due to it being summer, withought the front or groundsheet, and have been out in some prolonged torrential days of rain.
It has been faultless, no leaks, and the rain just shakes off. The footprint is so spacious , and can be spread as low as you wish to go. It's light, well made, I think it looks good, comes in a large bag, easy to erect and pack away.
The ONLY downside I can find is that if I wanted to buy the winter wrap it seems to be the same price or more expensive than the the actually bivvy, for some strange reason. That aside I would say in 30 yrs carping this is the best bivvy I've ever owned. I've had numerous " top brand" bivvies, but even regardless of cost, I still find the bloxx as the best value / quality I've used.
I hope this may help people, it is honest as I find it, and is just my truthful opinion.👍

I'm looking at getting a Titan, didn't even consider one of these tbh as never really had any JRC gear but reading everything on here and then looking at it on line it's actually the same kind of design as a Titan and seems to get good reviews, how spacious is it inside, I could save myself some money here if it's a good as all you guys say it is

My mate has the compact version and its a very good shelter and the compact has a nice bit of room so i would imagine the full size version is very good size wise

It's got loads of room. Seriously the design gives mega room. I've had titans. aquas, chub, trakker and Jrc, and Jrc and chub have been the best quality ive used. But this bivvy is exceptional quality for the price. Hopefully other owners will back me up, or I'll look like a ****! Lol

Well that is a pretty big statement, I've heard good things of Chub bivvies, and I know someone that owned a JRC bivvy for about 13 years, don't know which model though.
I suppose I've just looked past them for some reason even though my dad still uses the JRC oval brolly system which come to think of it is a good piece of kit.....under my nose the whole time and didn't even realise it.

Also, in the pictures the central block looks like plastic, I presume after your review you feel as if it's pretty well built to last ?

I'm not trying to plug anything, just give an honest review.
I've had 2 Jrc stealth brollies,( I bought the second after my first was stolen In a burglary), I still use it now.
Yes the block is moulded plastic, but is solid.
This is only my opinion.

Had mine 9 months and can't fault it.
Been used thru the winter with the overwrap and as an open fronted shelter during the summer.
Still going strong. No leaks or bits dropping off (unlike my tempest).
Good design, plenty of room and mega value.

I have had mine nearly 18 months now. Used it in all the seasons and all the types of weather. From blazing 40 degrees Italian summers to 3ft of snowfall in the alps.
My mate surprised me a few months back for a birthday present on a mystery fishing trip. I own 4 top notch bivvies. Guess which one i packed ?

been reading the reviews on this bivvy as I like this design, similar to the titan and tempest.
Question. the Bloxx does not look as deep inside from the youtube videos,
Any feedback on footprint compared to the T1 and V2?
If similar price then looks much better value for money

Don't know about the other bivvies to really compare footprints, but I can tell you about the space inside, it's massive! Bedchair will go right to the back, and it's still high enough to sit upright on your bed.if you use it like a brolly without utilising the front and width extension strap, you can really bring it down wide and low, covering even more area. I've done this in torrential driving rain and everything has been bone dry and stable.
I'm considering getting the winter wrap and using it for a weeks winter session in France rather than my large chub with extended wrap. It's plenty big enough + lighter and quicker to set up / take down.👍

Bringing this one back up, anyone got an idea of space for the Conpact mondel? I use a Trakker ELS Levelite bed, can you push the bed right to the back of the bivvy like Tempest / Titan??

its a shame they do not do a skull cap such thing for the Bloxx as I do not like using overwraps,

Bradders.....you wouldn't happen to know how the compact one compares in size to a tempest would you? They look really shallow in the vids but looking at dimensions in theory there should be plenty of room
