Nope.......how does Covid cause education problems? Let the kids catch it as data proves there at near zero risk and schools remain open!
With lockdowns I do wonder why they pick on hairdressers? I mean most are tiny and less risk than a supermarket or is it to make us feel like **** further with us all having the appearance of Mal........

listened to radio 5 all the way in this morning and they were talking about the covid issue in London and had an intensive care doctor on from a London hospital and he confirmed that 4 out of 5 (80%) of all covid admissions is for non vaccinated people, the other 20% is mainly made up of people with immune deficiency issues. The doctor was speaking as a representative of intensive care doctors.
The Omicron variant currently does not account for many cases in hospitals but the affect will be seen in the next few weeks and this is currently an unknown as we don't know how badly people will be affected by it.
So thanks mainly due to people that have decided to not be vaccinated the hospitals are filling up now, to have the vaccine then is to late and sadly some then die due to Covid. If this trend continues and hospitals get overrun with Covid patients there will have to be a lockdown in order to protect the NHS and stop other people from dying as a result of Covid patients over running hospitals. If it was only people that medically can't be vaccinated that were getting Covid badly then we wouldn't see anything like the numbers we are - I'd wager that the people that can't have the vaccine for genuine reasons are taking the most care they can to protect themselves in every way possible..
Nobody in their right mind would allow the NHS to be overrun by Covid and if the Government need to take action to protect the NHS and public health then they will have no choice but to do so. The choice will be taken out of their hands and currently you can point a finger at the non vaccinated.
Yes, the antivacc brigade would like to argue every single point but the facts are easy to see and quite obvious. Nobody (unless you have been asleep for the last 2 years) can argue they didn't know how severe Covid can be or that they have not been advised to get themselves protected as you then help to protect the people you come into contact with as well as yourself.

Hidden agenda maybe? Bradders spoke to a doctor a few weeks ago who said the opposite?
I cannot find any official data about unvaccinated people filling hospitals, what I can find though is loads of newspapers saying it......

There's 1200+ hospitals in England and 6600ish patients WITH covid.
Average that out and tell me this doctor's 80% lie again knowing the truth about the numbers you are quoting.

I started with what I thought was end of term flu on Saturday...
Felt worse on Sunday. Tested. Positive.
Breathing is the real issue right now. Feels a bit like a very prolonged asthma attack
Now isolating of course - Christmas plans scuppered (dinner and quality time with my lady and the kids at her mums)
Will come out of isolating just in time to go back to work... you couldn't make it up

Great way to describe the feeling Mal. That feeling lasted for 7 solid days with me then stopped and started for days. Touchwood but I have not had it for 3 days now! I suspect it lasted longer than it should through a touch of anxiety about my heart!

How even one person can say that lockdowns do not work is beyond me.....
The government should be sending subcontractors to every house in the country to cut 1 inch off the bottom of every front door in order to slide oatcakes with a choice of two fillings underneath 3 times a day until 2035 and then reassess the situation.
