I going by 10ft scopes on total tackle and ad websites take a look also 9ft 3llb are £185

Just looked they look good you can't go wrong for £75 and a good company like daiwa they start at £63 bargain

You do realise that a Harrison blank can cost what a complete scope costs? And could the same not be said for any rod manufacturer that sells rods over £150?

But the Scope is completely different rod....a Dwarf is a better comparison but the Scope is a superior blank. As to whether it is worth the money that is down to the individual but to say Nash are ripping people off is just a cheap shot.

People talk about rod fittings in the early 90s some rod companies starting putting Fuji reel seats on there cheap range to make them more attractive
and as for minimas a lot of rod builder's have said that they like it when people ask for them because they are a cheap ring and they make more money on them and some top rod builders won't use them at all

Fuji reel seats are below a tenner, retail. Probably about £1.20 for mass production.
Higher modulus blanks are lighter, have thinner walls, recover quicker and cast (certain loads) better.
Lower modulus costs less and take knocks better but are heavy and sloppy in comparison.
These are really the only differences with these retractable rods and only so many factories make the blanks which is why they're very similar in performance and appearance at each price point across the board.

Makes sense what you said that's how there made so cheap when someone put a thread up on here sometime ago saying he found scopes to look on alibaba site he couldn't believe the price
