I've had the Global kit for a couple of years now and it has been reliable and the battery life really good whatever the weather. Mine came with metal connectors as standard at the handle end and plastic at the wheel end, both have stood the test of time perfectly well.
Two years plus with a global wheel kit and I encountered a problem (my fault) Contacted them for advice and as well as being very helpful they offered to take it in and test it. Great after sales

Looking at getting a power barrow conversion from Ali Express sub £100. Piece of cake to install and save £300-400. UK carp tax or just greedy bar stewards.

Adam thats not very realistic ?
now they have to put the VAT and shipping cost on
this can add between £80 to £140 depending on who you buy from then unless you can weld and make your own wheel brackets
then its £35 for Jamie sutcliffe, brackets then add batteries this can be cheap lead acid or the excellent LiFePo4 batteries
so the final cost for a COMPARABLE Spec kit is still a very big saving of around £200
but in my case I was happy to pay the extra for a plug and play kit that you can self fit in under 30 mins and have a complete backup and after sales if anything goes wrong

Id say thats much more realistic.... circa £250-£300 depending on what battery options etc you go for. Still £200 cheaper and a damn sight quicker than the companies that are supplying the kits.... throw chinese new year into the mix and you may struggle to get one this side of summer having dropped yer trousers and paid upfront!

they did however pay the extra express delivery charge
a point worth mentioning What some folk are not aware of
when ordering from AliExpress the commonly used wheels are all the same spec voltage and power however the internals are different for instance the main ring gear can be either plastic or metal
THIS IS WHY there is a big difference in prices that what seems at first glance to be the same wheel !

Hi Phil if you are on Facebook ? you can get the latest info about Aliexpress kits here and checkout Jamie Sutcliffe he makes any brackets you may need to adapt your barrows forks to accept the motor wheel

I am going down a different route with the battery but that's just because as an electronics engineer I like to do things differently to the norm. If my idea works I will no doubt publish what and how at some point later in the year.
Mine is also not really for fishing but moving supplies/wood around my woodland but it will get used on the odd longer fishing trip I am sure

I converted my own using the 350w wheel, initially i used 2 x lead acids, but have moved onto a 24v lithium due to weight. as per below
