The trouble with not using RM again is they are all as bad as eachother.I have been in most of the big sort centres for these courier firms and its not good.If you saw how your belongings get thrown about you would never send anything again

I'm the same,I told a tackleshop that ripped me off once I would never step foot in there again and I never have

It does get confusing with the services royal mail and the post office offer, i sold some tools online and paid for online royal mail tracking with insurance went to drop them off at the post office only to find the post office wouldn't accept them as their scanners dont read the codes, i then tried my local royal mail sorting office only to find the same, it was there they told me about the scanners etc. They told me of a larger depot where i could drop the parcels off.
The post office may have offered you recorded and special delivery as they were the only service they could offer, although i do know now that my post office will also take parcel force.
