Exactly my experience with it, a very good friend of mine has had enough and got a refund, he is buying a tempest like I have he now wishes he never bothered with the typhoon, it's so cheaply made. 3 of the pegging points on the bivvy popped off in the first session he used it, even the cyprinus badges on his bivvy had been put on upside down on his, now for a £550 bivvy you wouldn't expect that even from a cheap brand like cyprinus.
Here comes the people who say it's built in the same factory as trakker/ aqua so it must be the same quality but I can assure you they are not even close to being the same quality, I use to have a tempest v2 brolly before my tempest 100T and the v2 brolly being half the price of the typhoon was much better quality

They were made in the same factory until recently........
Problem is Cyprinus were a budget brand who have slowly increased their prices to premium brand prices without making sure the quality reflects it.......greedy to be fair!!

Friend of mine who is a huge Trakker / Aqua fan has the Raptor unhooking mat and landing net, says this is the best quality he has ever had.
If the corona rules allow it, I will soon go to their store/demo room in the Netherlands

I don't deny it was made it the same factory I'm just saying for some reason they ain't made to the same quality that's all bud, I no what you mean with the greed thing. My dad has a cyrpinus bed that is actually pretty good for what he needs (he doesn't go as much as me) and was very cheap compared to others for the same size but like you said once they started upping there prices they need to up there game with quality which I'm sure they could do

If it's **** like Cyprinus then I'll send it back and get a refund, again

I've got a Cyprinus Memory foam bed that I paid about £90 on eBay
And I've got a Cyprinus 2 man bivvy with overwrap that I've used when in France that cost about £150.00 via eBay again
Great value but when they are asking silly money for what is a budget brand then possibly the aftercare etc need to up its game
Used to be great value stuff but I don't feel its value for money anymore
