I saw on Utube someone said as the reel spool turns in a clockwise direction, then the line has to come off the line spool in a anticlockwise direction. This should stop line twists

Some swear by that method but if you read this whole thread again from start to finish many prefer the other method.
If you're still undecided you'll just have to choose one and see how you get on. That's what most people on here done.

That's good
Only one thing being picky is he said no need to Soak new line for 24 hours but didn't actually say how long you should do it.

Been doing this for 40years.
Take spool that's been soaked for 20mins
Poke screwdriver through spool.
Get dad,sister,mates, then wife, kids, back to wife as kids too big and won't do it, too sit with spool facing you with tea towel each side so they don't burn hands.
Get reel on rod, thread line through eye on half butt of rod.
Wind line on making sure your assistant applys the correct amount of pressure, not too loose not too tight.
Job done, good training for your clan but they moan like mad when it's line time.
Nobody can tell me theres anything better, you need a bit of pressure and not pulled through something like a towel as it can over heat the line.

That front lip is very important as the chamfer is designed to kick the line off it like a cotton reel, with minimum resistance. All reels are different as well so finding the optimum line load point can be quite challenging.
