So everytime it rains using delks you have to dry them out afterwards I have never done it with any other make of alarm and never had an issue.Perhaps they could design a better hardcase that does not cover the whole alarm so does not trap any moisture.In one video I watched the owner stated they have invested alot of money in a new machine to make sure all the circuitry is totally waterproof er clearly not.
It's only taken them how many years to get the new ones right and it seems they still have not achieved it

To be fair I've never bothered drying my delks out and never had an issue. All manufacturers recommend you dry them after use too.

Same as. Never dry them off, but I use the aqua covers not the hard cases.

Never thought about the covers tbh, I use prologic ones so maybe that makes a big difference

Fox alarms have the cases that only cover the front so maybe let the alarm dry out a bit better.I really hope it's just teething problems most have them even the ntxr and rx+ had them but for now I'm sticking with fox

I have had Delks for over 27 years & Fished in all weathers & in all that time I've never had an issue with leakage.
I treated myself to 4 TXI plus 5 years ago & I had a problem with one.
It wasn't rain but heat , I was in France one August & it was 100 degrees plus ( 100 sounds hotter than 42 lol) and at night or early morning the delk was ok but when the sun hit it the buzzer began to sound.
My other 3 were fine.
I spoke to Delkim & they sugested it was a "dry joint issue" On my return I sent the iffy buzzer back & less than a week later a replacement arrived.
I have also lost battery covers & delkim have replaced these FOC.
Soooooo nothing is perfect ( although my other half thinks she is ) but as it stands I wont be changing my current Delks as I think the new features on the new Delks are "over egging the pudding"

No idea. But they pretty much sold the first batch from what ive been told by shops that cant get any in stock

No thanks I will just buy gear that works in the rain no way can I be bothered to dry all my gear out after use maybe my bivvy if its lucky

I used my new delks in some very very heavy rain recently thunderstorms everything down here, I used them again yesterday they still work perfectly fine no problems at all and they got a proper soaking for well over 12 hours and no problems with them.
As for drying stuff off I normally do becuase I dont see the point in paying all the money we do and not look after stuff.

In any of the latest videos do delkim advise drying the alarms after use in rain I have not seen any but have seen them bang on about them being waterproof

Another video on Facebook of a guy that had one replaced last week due it giving him constant scream with line moving. He took em out today in the rain another one has the same issue now nothing to do with drying after fishing this happens when it rains when your using them.

Oh dear. This could be very very damaging for delkim. I've spoken to a lot of old grumpy people like me who already think they are overly complicated. But being so loyal to delkim for so many years I couldn't see me ever buying anything else, but I'd not pay top dollar for something unreliable. Shame.
