It wouldn't be a first...
but I guess I've missed something as I thought the milk was for hot drinks. Doubt it'd be cold by adding a cube (even get tiny) cube trays.

Hi. Just get a Coleman xtreme cool box 28QT, it'll easily out perform the coolbags. Just put in 2 x 1L frozen bottles of water in the bottom.
After two days the bottles will still be frozen at approx 50% if you keep the lid closed as much as possible. even in the recent hot weekends.
Well worth the investment imo.

Yes - I have seen those and pretty useless I meant an actual hard box.
Flasks I do use a lot and if you get a decent one, poor half the milk in put on its side and freeze it, then top up with cold milk and you get a few days out of it, they are better as opposed to boxes you are only opening a small part of the bottle.

MILK
I alway use semi skimmed BUT IT MUST BE FILTERED Cravendale or the supermarkets own version if you check the dates on the packs you will see its always normally a couple of weeks
I use a stainless thermos flask and not EVER had it go bad in 4 days I chill the flask in the fridge with the milk prior to going
on my extended trips in France I used to have a pack of long life shyte as an emergency the colour coding in France for skimmed and semi skimmed is different to ours so you have to me careful or you can end up with coloured water(skimmed)
