I just seen the Nash Bank Life Hi-Back Lounger.
It's nothing more than a sun lounger, I had one like that back in the 1980's but it had a floral pattern, and before you ask, no I didn't take it fishing.

It looks like a deck chair to me and yes im old enough to remember them but I have better things to do than argue whether its a deck chair or not a deck chair. I couldnt really care what it is but its definitely over priced chinese *****, a bit like all of nashys gear. Im amazed nash are still trading with the crap they churn out.

Totally agree with Stuart overpriced cheaply made tat I can clearly remember the pain trapping my fingers in one when closing it they where the garden chair and you would rent one on the beach in the 60s

Maybe, but I have a feeling we aren't too far apart age wise. I know you are talking about the old wooden contraptions for hire at the beaches. Either way, the Nash things are horrendously expensive for what they are

If a failing tackle company were to launch this product in attempt to turn around the fortunes of the business, they could justly be accused of 're-arranging the cheap aluminium Chinese-made folding sun loungers on the Titanic'.

Considering they are now Chinese owned it wouldn't surprise me. Low quality High cost.
Nash make me laugh, they bring out industry game changers one year, and laughable tat the next.
They made an absolute ballsup giving up on the Peg One gear, then a few years later they buy Taska and bring out candle powered bivvy heaters.
Meh, they can bring out what they want at the end of the day. People will certainly buy it because why not? It's paid for on the never never by people who fish for a few weekends in the summer when they aren't in the pub doing three for a ton.

People get confused with what people me included are trying to say nash has come up with some great ideas over the years you can't say any different but the finished product is cheaply made at a high end price that's my beef price against quality
