Just ordered the Avid one with 15% off at TFT. I too have the Nash one (actually the Carpzone but same thing) and never used it cause you're right, it weighs a ton.

Had 12 here yesterday Gerry so only just got it out-of the box.
Never owned one before, only used someone else's onnsite . So can't compere it.
However, I like that it's lightweight and that the camlocks make raising and levelling it nice and quick. And it will fit in with my rods.
