Genuine question, but why do people need to a adjust a buzz bar width? Is it just for smaller pack down?
I had Neville swan necks for years, Defiant MPS titanium, Solar and now got a set of these on the way. Never felt the need to adjust a buzz bar width a few inches each way.

Because there's plenty of tarts about that like the rods close together and their reels handles folded up

I'm yet to find a a set up with a rod or reel that doesn't work with a 10” buzz bar. In this case I went 11” as that was the option. Why do you need to adjust for different set ups?

Don't want a huge gap between reels when using my 10fts with castizms on.If I have bars to fit my tech mgs on the castizms would look lost with a huge gap between each reel

Personally I like to have my reels fairly close together and a certain “splay” on the rods so having Adjustable Buzz Bars means I can mess about getting them just how I like them.
It also means if I do fancy changing the way it's set up I can.
On top of that Adjustable are usually a bit chunkier and I prefer that.
Purely down to aesthetics for me!
Obviously doesn't catch me any more fish but if I'm going to sit there looking at it all, I may as well have something easy on the eye.

Fair enough. I can't say the amount of air between my reels when sat on a rest takes up much of my headspace while fishing, but we all go for different reasons.
