I've sold lots of stuff that has been used once or never used. Normally things I have bought online with the intention of fishing somewhere/a different style which never transpired or simply didn't like. Most recently this was a pair of unused freespirit CTX and a ESP stalker. I have a few other bits here to flog at some point.
Whilst I agree some people are taking the piss, there are some genuinely barely used/unused bargains.

How long ago was that? I had a similar issue with a set from him, returned them and got my money back, wast an easy process though. I did start a thread on here in relation to my issues. Was a while back and cant find it now, not sure if threads get deleted after a certain time or if that thread specifically got removed

Unfortunately in these times it's all about supply and demand, I've just bought a brand new car for 7 k less than a 2nd hand version of same car as I'm prepared to wait.
In the same breath I've just sold a car for 6k more than I bought it for 6 months ago.

What I find annoying to say the least is ads selling tackle that they clearly know nothing about with lame words like been out the game for a while what are these worth! Obviously stolen tackle, then there's the sellers that want virtually retail price for what is regardless of use 2nd hand used goods. I don't get why people for a few quid more won't buy new and get the cover that comes with a new purchase. Unless a second hand item is a 3rd off retail at minimum I wouldn't entertain paying out for it but for some odd reason people continue to overpay for used or 2nd hand tackle.

I sold a load of my gear on eBay as I was actually upgrading rods,reels and a bivvy etc also sold some stuff at work to a guy I knew ,but on eBay people also want things for nothing

These so and so reels retail at 185.99 each grab a bargain at 130 each....yeah, no tackle shop has ever had them at retail. Shimano xta big baitrunners is one of the ones that always stand out. Seen em as low as 95 quid each at times, people trying to sell a set for 450 quid.
