Bloody hell it's like waiting for the next episode of Bodyguard! The suspense is killing me.







I think maybe my entertainment standards have dropped during lockdown...

Let me put you out of suspense

I soaked the part in hydrogen peroxide and shone an ultra violet on it for 5 hours each side.
Took it out and held it up to the light and I'm not sure but there may have been a slight improvement?
By this time the Polytrol had arrived in the post so I gave it a coated both sides with that.
Again held it up to the light and I'm not sure but maybe another slight improvement, it's difficult to say so the only way to find out was to reassemble everything and try it out properly.
Well I'm pleased to say that although not a remarkable improvement some had taken place and the display is now readable enough to be able to use.
Not sure if one or both products helped, it's a one off and so I'll never know for sure.
