As said you take it where you want to if you want to experiment with photography and get quality pics get a DSLR still believe a good lens beats what the newest phone can offer and I've got a D7100 nikon (old DSLR) and the new Samsung Galaxy Ultra 22 which is the best mobile phone camera on the current market still prefer the camera....

Agreed, Long time a Sony user and currently using the Sony A1 which I can vouch, is a beast of a camera for both stills and 8k video. Yes, phones are gaining ground, but only because there's a lot of ground for them to gain. The gap was a cavern. They will never compete with the versatility of an outright pro camera, especially with night shooting. But you wouldn't expect them to TBF.
