Understand what your saying and I can imagine you might not actually be doing "laps" but surely you must pass close enough to your car/van to collect a spare battery.
I only have a 12v battery and it easily does a lap of a 60 acre lake.
Wouldn't be without mine.

Personally I doubt that I've travelled more than a mile there and back worst case, fairly flattish paths too. From my perspective I wouldn't personally target a water that I need to do a marathon on before I can pitch up and get fishing, just a personal preference. I can't therefore offer any advice on extreme distances but what I will say is that at the risk of sounding like Bilbo Baggins, after the mile trip there and back again mines still been on a green LED.
If you have any concerns why not buy an extra battery and load that into your luggage, just in case you find yourself in the sh*t and need to swap out the battery, I'm sure Prestige would flog you a spare battery. The other thing on the power porter is you can flip the lug on the wheel from motor to 'free wheel' so it works as a conventional barrow.
These barrows are fantastic bits of kit and will cater to 99% of most people's needs but if you are to fishing what Mo Farah is to marathon running then you might need that extra battery.

Really appreciate your experience with yours
I know they're exceptionally good and very well made. I've been looking at them for some time but because of the waters I fish I've held back. There's a guy on the water I'm fishing who has the 12v version who had to borrow my barrow as his went tits up and the wheel wouldn't freewheel, plus I'll be fishing bigger waters, so going by what Prestige are saying I'd have to get a few spare batteries.

I've got the Power Porter extreme. I've got to say its brilliant. The Lake i'm fishing is a mile round and the most I have used the barrow fully loaded is probably 2 miles over a session in total. will even cope with steep slopes.
it is a big and heavy barrow even when empty so I would question whether I could get it in my car and breaking it down would be a lot of effort. I leave it fully assembled and use a trailer ... and when I get home wheel it straight into the garage... a van dedicated to Fishing would be cracking option.

Those are some massive waters, personally I'd get two batteries with the mk7 porter both fully charged and see how you get on, if the brown stuff hits the rotating thing don't forget you can always free wheel it. If two batteries don't cut it then you might have to order a third until you nail it, I'm sure you'd get to the moon and back on two though so I'd go from there.
