well I have never had any problems myself with the receiver on any of the different Delkim models Ive owned
and honestly NEVER EVER heard of any till now !
but I guess like everything in the world you will get a percentage that are faulty in eveything thats ever been made

It's not the tone it's the flashing of the LED when the line goes backwards I find really handy.
Steady LED line has been taken out, steady flashing means line is coming back towards you
I can tell you when the bobbin has lifted slightly and settled back to it's original position, that to my says 'liner' be prepared but no need to get out of bed.
Maybe for some that's of no use but for someone who has older eyes it's easier to see than an isotope in a bobbin

My thoughts and wants exactly. At night so easy so differentiate a liner from a take without even looking. The amount of times my mates have jumped out of their sleeping bag only to see their bobbin coming to rest back where it was. I find it so handy it's the 'must have' on any alarm for me

Its tells you more of what is going on in the lake,say I get three bleeps forward then two bleeps back I know my lead has been moved away from me.If this happens I have probably been done,I dont rely on drop back differential to determine whether I lift into a fish or not.The wolf alarms are going to be very interesting with vibro,wheel and drop back tone

Can't see it myself Tony, not needed it for over 30 years so I can live without it not. I'd rather look and see, there's no better way to see that use your eyes.

Its personal choice I guess,there are massive positives on the delkims as there is on the rx+.I know people who have switched both ways and not regretted it.I like my rx+ and keep toying with the idea of changing but I just can't seem to do it

If you are happy then why would you mate? I'll never go away from delks as my main alarms tbh, I do have a set of ava's which dalectronics made remote for me, but that's because I wanted a set as a kid and never got to buy them. Total waste of money, not particularly good as they are roller buzzers, but they look nice lol

Don't think Delkim will ever be able to differentiate dropback cos of the vibration sensor which unlike a roller doesn't have direction.

....that's assumng you can get a delkm to register a drop back in the first place..
Its a well known and documented fault, especially with light bobbins on...

Well it can't be that well known cos I've had at least four sets of delks going back many years and I've never experienced that. Neither have any of my mates who've also used them for years. One of my waters is practically all snag fishing. Bow string tight lines. Light bobbins. Every take is a drop back. Never once not registered

How would you know its not registered,if its not registered then you would not know its not registered because if it registers then it is not a none register as its registered

Was it my fault my receiver started picking up my mates alarms?I had to do a reset on the bank,Delkims customer service was amazing though to be honest
