Browns in Leighton buzzard had a fair amount of their kit in stock la couple of weeks ago when I was in there

Can anyone please tell me if this rucksack can withstand some rain? I am not talking about being submerged in water, but if it has to stand is some rain, will my gear in it be wet?

Yes it can,I have had my compact one on in rain but not for a long period(half an hour or so) the contents were dry inside and in the pockets due to the flaps over the zips

It will withstand a shower but water will get in eventually as it would with any rucksack. Brilliant luggage.

One question about the Speero rucksack that strikes me when looking at the video's. It doesn't have rigid sides like other rucksacks: is this an issue? Doesn't it collapse with heavier/bulkier items in the top, outer compartment for instance?

I am also looking at the Nash Subterfuge rucksack that looks better on this aspect with also an eva base.

No it stays rigid,the side with all the padding on helps with that

Ah okay, thanks. I saw the video of carpology and it looked very (can't find the correct word) pliable and limb.also the lid was just a softist fabric while others offer more of a hardened flap.

I think because of the padding and all the outer pockets it helps it to stay quite rigid.I really rate mine,its comfy on my back and the build quality is excellent

Rucksack cover sorts that out. Cheap, light, waterproof.
