I do agree the "jumping the gun" announcements have been ridiculously confusing and a tad irresponsible though

Good guy indeed.
We should all join. They actually do some good.....totally agree on the ridiculous prosecution of Myles a few years ago though. A lot has changed within the AT since then.

Hi, that's Fair enough, I respect your decision. My decision, for now, is to support the angling trust. I think most organisations are run by egos by the very nature of the job and the angling trust will be no different. Trouble is the less funding they get, the bigger Melons we will end up with. Tight Lines. Paul.

Angling Trust has changed dramatically over the past few years, I and two other fishery owners I know use the AT for our Insurance – we have nothing but praise for them.
Would I like to try to do their job representing such varied branches of the same sport – not a chance, herding Cats would be easier and less stress!
I know this is a Carp orientated forum, but people need to start looking at the bigger picture.

They represent nobody Defiant one , they are still a charity not an angling organisation . Too many ego's involved if you ask me, they do not work as one . I would never join personally i find them an irritant at best.
I should add, i do respect both yours and Speckled opinions.
