I'm using a titanium fantail - use it as single sticks mainly but happy with it when I have used it as a pod. Much more versatile than a normal pod and nice to be able to point the rods at the baits.
The only 'issues' I've found is that if the rods are spread too much that the butts hit each other/overlap making it a little difficult to lift into a fish. Additionally it is a little bit of a faff to set up (compared to my old fox x-pod).

Yes I've got the compact Fantail. What a great bit of kit.
It does seem a bit 'faffy' if only going for a few hours, especially when first used, but you soon get used to it.

Yeh that would annoy me. Im slow and sweaty setting up and thats with years of getting the quickest stuff.

Is that setting up the whole thing ?
I was thinking it would be straight forward if I kept the bank sticks all set up.
Don't you just screw the long pole joints in to connect front an back ?

I guess the rear ones can stay in the cross shaft
But the front ones will have to be loose. And then their is the three long shafts. So it does take a bit more putting together.

Yet lots of companies have copied Keith's ideas using cheaper materials making far more inferior products. I'm sure Defiant MPS was the first company to use titanium too.
