I'm dining mine complicated, I'll accidentally push a button I'll get a beep and won't know what I've done

I like a good solid, on/off switch and a Tone, volume sensitivity....the TXD is Ok to set up but when you want to change something you end up wondering if you have messed the original settings up, switched the bloody thing off, affected the signal to the receiver etc etc......I just had very little confidence they were going to perform.
Smalljon is right, you will press something there will be beeps and flashes and you are never certain exactly what you have done........they have massively overcomplicated something very simple.
If Delkim had just made the heads the smaller size and sorted out the receiver issues but left everything else as it was they would have been onto a winner. If they also made the LED's changeable and added a backdrop differentiation...they would have cleaned up!

You wont have done anything to change any of the settings by just pushing a button and getting a beep. You have to hold buttons down for a period of time and they make a totally different sound when they go into setup mode so you cant accidentally put them into setup mode by pressing a button by mistake.
Ive always bought fox alarms as had some nightmares with my txi's playing up in the rain but i needed some alarms for my barbel fishing and i couldnt bring myself to buy the rx+ as they are huge hideous looking things so took a gamble on the new txi d and so far they have been spot on. I wasnt sure on the look of the delks in the photos but they look so much nicer in the flesh. It took me 5 mins to set them up in the house then you just control them like a normal alarm with the dials if needed so not complicated at all. Ive never seen the need to have changeable leds mind as even when i had my ntxrs they were always set to blue so just bought a blue set of delks.
Mind you the new wolf alarms looks quite nice just need to see how big they are, but i have a feeling they are going to be huge like the fox rx+

Have to agree
Txi-D seem complicated but once set up they are faultless. There is a Delkim app and the basics are all in one easy page if you are stuck wondering how to change something....so easy
Love the way you can use the Response wheel....loads better than the old sensitivity IMO (more adjustment)
The receiver is fantastic
Only thing I think on the Fox's is the bass tones......but then I love the Delk warble too

But that's just it, the uncertainty and over-complication of what is a very simple thing! Each to their own and all that, I don't dislike Delks at all so wasn't making it a Delk v Fox thing but as I said in my previous post, if Delkim had just made the casing smaller and sorted out the receiver, (which they have) then why change the rest? Absolutely no need to whatsoever IMO.
Personally I don't want to worry about whether my alarms were working or not, I found myself going down to the TXd's to give them a little tweak every now and again to check, maybe that would have changed over time but I decided all I needed was a simple on/off switch, (not holding 2 or is it 3 buttons down simultaneously) an 8 range low/mid/high range tone, (not 64 tones) and a similar range sensitivity, (not beep speed or is it response?)....... coupled with high performance receiver and the RX plus gives me all that

We defo dont need another fox v delks debate 😀
As long as your happy and confident with the rx then thats all that matters really. Life would be pretty boring if everyone liked the same thing 👍🏻
