Hi guys - Seen this thread and thought i'd clarify a few things about Lac de Premier (LDP)

Previous owner let the lake run down after what seemed to be a brillaint venue. Nick & Kele took the lake over last season and have turned the place around. Rumours about stocks or fish being low or stolen are incorrect. Last year it was netted and they estimated (Not all fish get netted) a stock of around 250-300 fish. After a successful season last year (the LDP facebook page is most updated so feel free to check that out) it was then stocked and now stock levels are around 350-400 i believe.

This is the second year im returning to LDP - and the owners are the reason i visited initially after meeting them on a seperate venue.

Happy to answer any questions if anybody has any!

Jamie

Sorry badly worded in my part - Keith used to manage the lake and went off the rails. Tony Hibbert is still the owner.

I'm sure Tony still owns it, the man he trusted to run it prior Keith let him down and others, Tony has invested as far as I was told and Nick is the new baliff to run it for him.

Tony owns it, Nick and Kele run it.
I was one of the first on there last year when they reopened.
Fantastic venue now!

I'm pretty sure they have done - the Cats have also been taken out (although it's nearly impossible to get rid of all of them) to keep Carp growth to a maximum. I had no problems with bream last year. I know there are still like in there which probably maintain the level of silvers.

I had about 5 cats last year up to 53lb (Albino) 4 of them were small and removed.
Big ones left in there to keep silvers under control.

Lads, does anybody have more info on this place? Looks really good from what limited info I can find.
Doesn't seem to be a website or anything, just a Facebook page?
