He may well roll it in house now, hence my post referring the to past (when he got it from ABS). Chances are its still the same bait (base and liquids etc).
Good stuff, and if he was closer/ if I fished that way more then I wouldn't hesitate to use OCB

Don't think any of Joes baits are the original malarkey, although the nut bait is the same as the ABS version

I've been looking at moving on to oxford carp baits myself, the mc but looks perfect for me and gets really good reviews everywhere, the waters I fish have a lot of bream in and heard that they are very fond of it, is this true ?

it's a good bait mate, anything sourced my ABS is top quality, can't say i've caught any bream on MC though! I use it as my winter bait.

Is the Oxford baits one the exact same as the ABS though ? It says on the OCB site that the attractors are scopex and maples in theirs, then on ABS site it says the attractors are maplecreme and condensed milk in theirs ?

99% certain they're the same mix my friend. The GS Crab and the others are custom mixes.

Never used Oxford however I was a big live system bait man for years and a friend was fishing a maple bait on a park lake in Essex, wasn't a big brand bait firm I did some reserve has and found ABS and since then their Maple nut boilies have tore up the lakes I've been on can't recommend them highly enough, for me bait is bait and every lake is different if you put enough in you can turn certain carp towards a particular bait however it's not always the case and sometimes you need to change up and go back to basics or have a search through the old bait bucket and see what you can find (often a monster crab pop up lurking around the bottom slightly discoloured and hard as hell) I have no loyalties to any company and why should I I'm paying for bait not being paid for bait, I'll give the Oxford a look however @ roughly £7 a kilo from Geoff it's gotta be a good bailie to steer me
Not that bait cost is the most important , I'd rather pay a premium for a decent bloat that breaks down natural and doesn't bloat out carp but I think there's probably another thread here for that topic
