Might be worth putting in the nearest village into ur nav then. It's only 5 mins from there and u can use the directions given on the website

I think you will find that they only allow 8 anglers on now, exclusive week or not.

The nearest village for your sat navs is Bazoches Les Bray, best thing to do is turn off the main D road at the petrol station, head straight through the village and out the other side, going towards the river Seine, the lake is right at the side of it 👍

I would deffinately take The Hartford mix as bait aswell, the fish love it 😜

Does anybody know if there's a bailiffs peg that they fish whilst you are there or are all pegs available at the start of the draw and then they make their choice? Thank you

It depends, which Mick is on the week you fish. If Mick B is on he will normally fish from his chalet in between pegs 13 & 14. I have seen on occasions that he will close pegs 13 & 14 and have that area for himself if he is there that week, sometimes it will just be peg 14 that gets closed, both 13 & 14 are single pegs.

If Mick H is on that week I doubt he will do any fishing, if you are fishing as a double then all the double pegs will be in the draw no matter what, that is what has happened the past 3-4 years we have been going.

Not sure if Mick Bowman will fish from where he normally does this year, his cabin and container, where burnt to the ground while they wern't there this winter, due to an electrical fault.

It's such a shame, they will have to replace everything that was in the container.

He did mention that he plans to rebuild in the spring, so we will have to see what happens.

Hi all
At Island in 4 weeks for the first time but will fish somewhere else the week before. Had some excellent feedback from Foxy but if anyone else has fished swim 12 and wants to PM some info re spots, baiting, rigs etc i'm all ears. Can never have enough info

You must be on a lake exclusive if you know your already fishing 12 mate (hope the fish are in front of 12 on your week) but if you watch Kevin Ellis on this site he gives you a few good pointers and is a bloody good video to boot.Best of luck on your visit mate.

Yes we are and yes we know swims hence me asking😊. Seen Kev's vids and Mark's to that point indeed are very good but don't discuss baiting or area in 12 really more his swim in 13.

Does anybody know if they supply life jackets with the boats or do I need to take my own? Cheers
