Just recieved mine...
Lovely reels for that amount of cash.
Very smooth, good line clip, fast QD..( like the Daiwa Iso, quater turn from lock to free.)
The handle i did not like, tried my ss3000 handles, and they fit....:-)

Also changed the washers.
There are 3 carbon washers and 3 metal once's.
exchanged the 3 carbon once's for vilt, and now the drag is less quick...and better for my fishing given me more options.
Overall the first impression is they are certainly worth the money.
Time will tell about duration..

Is the spool size similar to a windcast z spool?

It holds 270 meters of 35/00 line..
Compared to my ss3000's its about the same size.
