Don't bother taking a unhooking mat you can hire one their its only £5 . I took the standard size trakker sanctuary floatation sling and it was fine would easily take a 60lber

you lucky git....We've still got 47 days 9 hrs and 26 minutes to go !!!!
Anyone fishing Lake 3 before we go on May 9th - please let me know how you get on ??
Also any news on tackle, methods and baits would be very helpful..
Anything I need to definitely take with me ?
And which end of Lake 3 fishes best ? (if we get the chance to choose)..
Thanks and much appreciated...

Oh, and one other thing......I have been told that Lake 3 is the hardest to fish ?
what are the chances of coming home having blanked ? Or am I going to be bored
by high teens and twenties all week - cos that will do me just fine !!!
Thanks....

I fished DL3 at the end of August and everyone on the lake caught about 10 fish each! It's a great lake to have a go on, caught my 1st 50lb common, I was in peg 8! I've just looked at the new website and the bailiff report for the last few years has gone so that's a big shame you can't look back and see what people have caught over the years!
