Thanks jeff, i wasn't aware they also did a 12ft 6 one but i see from your previous post you would reccommend the 13ft

I have the 12ft aviator spod, standard stock from Johnson Ross, it's decent, solid rod, not had any issues.
I haven't used that many spod rods in my yrs of fishing but I can tell you it's a hell of a lot easier to compress than the trebuchet spod (that was impossible for me)
I had a freespirtit and greys spod before that and it's miles better.
