Chucked everything I owned into an Army rucksack in the 70's (wasn't that much I had then). Couple of bag changes along the way, more **** chucked in then poured it in to my current bag in 2008.
I just rummage about in it, absolutely no system. If I need it then it's in there somewhere. Also occasionally find bits I haven't seen or remembered for nearly 50 years (found a spool of Dyneema Dacron braid last time out
).
Everyone's different. Some people want to arrive for an overnighter - bish, bosh, bang - 3 rods in, pre prepped sticks etc done and dusted. I'm not knocking it, used to do overnighters then pack up and go to work once a week.
With age comes a different slant on it. I'm now retired. I've kept my snydicate ticket but as I no longer work away from home it's a 3+ hour drive, 4 when taking the dog. I have all day to set up, no rushing, far too much gear but I'm here for the week. I don't mind rummaging about in a bag because I have zero pressure from anyone, anything, here to take it all in, relax and catching is just a bonus. Strange thing is I'm enjoying a lot of success with this **** it attitude. So I'll continue to be haphazard and have the barrowbag from Hell

I have a confession to make. My rucksack had two handy little pockets that I stored my leads in, since moving to a carryall I really miss these and yesterday I bought a little bag to go in the bag. I'm also going back to using buzz bars and may put them in an old dedicated bag to go in the bag. Forgive me for I have sinned.

Will that have the carp tax put on to it if you sell them online because I can just go to Asda(other supermarkets are available)
