it turns into a brittle bar with the heat and sugar mate.
I tend to dilute the cola/glucose liquid, 60/40 with de chlorinated water when boiling

Thanks for that, saves me wasting condensed milk

Could have tried the caramel flavour milk nothing better than having your nuts soaking in caramel milk might make them more attractive and taste better 😂😂😂

I do a 3 to 1 mix of tigers to sugars ( ie 3 kg tigers 1kg sugar) then soak them in double the water ( ie 8 litre) with the sugar in also. I soak them for a couple of days and they will take on enough water to look ready to use with the same crunch as cooked ones. I then boil for 30 minutes and let cool. to store I use empty fizzy pop bottles, i funnel them in then top up with liquid to the very top to keep air out then put the lid on. They store for ages like this and save room in the freezer. Also do maize in the same manner and it stores well. You get a lovely sweet syrup from the stored particle that fish love.
I found it impossible to improve on the humble tiger. Simple 48hour soak and then 30-40 mins boil. Then in the airing cupboard for a few days to ferment. I tried flavouring, soaking in different liquids etc and nothing improved them, if anything it detracted from their appeal. Even tried soaking in tiger slime which just attracts bream from anywhere! The one thing that improved catch rates considerably however was fishing chopped Tigers alongside whole ones.

I like em plain and fresh! Tried coke, brown sugar, secret agent, all work but no noticeable difference tbh. I like em fresh or gloopy, soon as they start smelling alcoholic I'm not so keen

I always go for the old sweet and simple. Soak for 48 hrs then boil with sugar, leave to ferment for a few days somewhere warm so they go all slimy but still smell sweet and they are good to go. I don't like to leave them fermenting for too long after they go slimy though as I don't like that fermented sometimes vinegariness that they get, and yes I did totally make up the word "vinegariness"
