I don't buy much RidgeMonkey Gear but to be fair to them why would you go directly to them?
If you bought say a Samsung TV from Currys and it was not delivered would you go to Currys or direct to Samsung for a resolution?
It's the Retailer taking orders that they knew they couldn't fulfil for 2 months and nothing to do with the Manufacturer. I find it weird that Carp Anglers go directly to the Manufacturer rather than where they've purchased from to get any problems sorted.
