Yes I'm extending the shank with a kicker, tried a couple of different kickers so far and both are working but still feel a slightly longer metal shank plus the kicker would be perfect.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately with the set up I'm using I don't think weight at the eye end will help... But I will have a look next time I'm in the tackle shop.
