I had a 25lber just before new years eve fishing comfortably at 24wraps on it.
I don't think it's that hard to cast, no worse than the others.
12ft 3.5tc rods I should mention.

X line then went to tiger and not looked back and that was some years ago tend to use fluro for 90% of my fishing

Yes it doesnt cast well but thats fluro for you but im a fan and I picked up some of the newer tiger earlier this year and again im happy
