I just pull up as normal and shuffle across to the passenger side. They are contactless now so quick n easy
Even if your paying cash euros its quick
Don`t worry about holding anyone up,bollox to them you`re on holiday

Just be aware that the tolls don't appear to take all cards! Just got back from France and they refused to take my Jaja credit card (it's what used to be the Post Office credit card) the card worked fine everywhere else it was just the toll booths that had an issue with it?
My debit card worked fine through the tolls but whole point of taking the Jaja card was there's no foreign currency transaction fee with that

Ensure you pay with a credit card - NOT a debit card. There have been problems in the past where debit cards have been cloned off the toll system in France. At least with a credit card, it's not your money and you have easier recourse.

Just got back from France & used my Jaja card in all the contactless toll booths without a problem.

My card has been cloned on 2 out of the last 3 trips. Cash only from now on! I undo my seat belt as i enter the tolls and climb across and lean out the window. Much easier in a Renault Trafic than smaller vehicles. Just put your belt back on before exiting the tolls.

Emovis web site says they are currently out of stock on French tags. Hope to get some in at the end of August.
