It's all well and good coming on here with your first post knocking a venue if you actually stated why you felt that way

My opinion(everyone is entitled to one ) is based on my experience and I found the owner not really helpful and approachable for re booking great venue though 👍

I didn't say you were not allowed opinion, In fact I was pointing out that you have made a statement but have not actually explained why you feel the way you do, which would have been more helpful. Enjoy the forum 👍

So as we're just over a week into our 10 day trip I thought I'd give some feedback.
Firstly the venue is absolutely superb in itself. Good clean toilets and a shower. Plenty of fridge and freezer space for your food, bait and more importantly beers! 🤣
The bailiff team are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the lake and local amenities. They have done everything they can to put us on fish and make our stay as good as possible.
Gary, the owner, is over at the moment as well and he too is a great bloke.
Now on to the actual fishing...... What can I say about the unreal stock of big fish in here! I myself have had 14 fish including 540s, one of which a pb common of 49lb! 2 50s to 56lb topped by a 60lb 2oz mirror!
My mate I'm doubled up with is also on 14 fish with 2 being 60s upto 67lb!
This is definitely one of the top carp waters in France, if not Europe and one I will certainly be returning to whenever possible!
As for people saying it's all about the money now, we haven't been asked for anything extra or had anyone trying to get money out of us so I don't understand that comment?
So 2 nights left to bag an absolute whacker! 🐳
