Couple of questions baitman if you don't mind.
How do you manage with a braided leader on marker work, I have murders with them even at relatively short range, do you have any issues?
Is the clip attached to marker storage tube? If so nice idea but can you easily change between lead for marker and spod? I use a loop?

I have used a braid shockie on the marker and spod for many years with no issues. Its thick heavy braid so when wet it behaves. I have about 25-30ft of shockie as a couple of lakes were deep and I wanted to be sure the shockie knot wasn't fouling the swivel.
I have mostly used 12lb mono reel line due to fishery rules, so used it elsewhere too.
The clip is attached to the lead, and that's tucked into a section of pipe lagging and it has tape around to be sure it grips the lead tightly. The float is dangling futher up.
I have a 12" lead boom section of stiff bristle filament to allow the float to easily rise when dragged through bottom weed or silt, this is essential.
I use loop on the end of the shockie on my spod rod so I can change spombs or take it off for transport.
I don't have a loop on my marker rod, but I do have a clips so I can change the lead or float when needed.
