My old man's had a set for about a year, he has said they are a bit hungry on batteries which surprised me as my mk1s and txi+ have always been very frugal.
He also commented the other day about how he likes the low tone on mine, I said change yours then, his reply was he hadn't touched anything since I'd set them up for him and didn't know how, which made me chuckle.
I don't know if it's just me but they don't seem to have the distinctive Delkim warble either.

So the heads delkim spend precious time repairing due to water ingress is all done foc, even though it's user error?

Batteries last for ever in mine just like the previous to versions i had over the years. The new ones defo have the same delkim warble.

Delkim have great customer service
It's a good job they do
I had 3 txi d replaced all stopped working after water ingress
They never saw really bad storms
I loved them but I could not trust them
I now have fox rx+ been out in all weather never missed a beat

I did exactly the same, I had 3 txi D all develop faults. 2 were dampness and the dreaded constant bleeps the third had receiver range of only 50yds. Delks were very good and sent out 3 brand new ones. But I too sadly lost all confidence in them and after 35 years on delks I sold the new ones and bought fox RX plus which are so much better imo.

You loosing confidence in something, doesn't make something else better.
I've owned both, with no issues with either. And I can say, based on that experience, that neither is better than the other. I chose delkim as I have always been a delkim fan. They both do what they are designed to do well, as you'd expect from top of the range alarms. Yes there are faults in some out of the thousands they manufacture and sell, but the same happens with cars, phones etc, anything with tech in it, there will always be bad batches. It's how stuff is dealt with that counts.

For me the new Txi D is unnecessarily over complicated, I was forever checking the manuals on how to adjust the alarms.
The main plus of fox over delks is the lack of false bleeps. If the RX plus bleep, you know 9 times out of 10 a Bite is coming (bar liners) Delks constantly give false bleeps, rain, wind, leaf on the line, duck farts nearby etc.
I was a huge Delks fan and over 3 decades had every single version they have brought out including the receiver with the cables plugged into the alarms.. . I had 3 different sets of txi,s Over 15 years or longer.
A few went back for water ingress.. Delkims after sales is superb, far better than fox which is pretty poor by comparison. So you do get more peace of mind with Delkim
I actually borrowed a set of Ntxr whilst my TxI D were sent back to Delkim and loved them, the RX plus were purchased soon after that trip.

its really amazing how different we experience things
I have never ever had any problems with water in fact one year in France when the Typhoon went thru it picked up my four rod pod way up in the air and dumped the lot in 14feet of water took around an hour to recover everything just took the batterys out dried them with a towel put them back totally perfect
as far as false bleeps ?? Nope !
as IMHO they are the most adjustable alarms available I have never had any problems the only time was when a hail storm went thru they went nuts
but that was a one off and I just never get any false bleeps I am pleased to say
