The Feraboli Picnic BBQ is a good bit of kit, having an adjustable cooking height makes all the difference IMO

Happy New Year mate
yes it was after watching an Ozzy BBQ program where they were laughing about the crazy pommy`s that cook on grills without lids ! then later in the program with some high tech probes they showed the different temps of the food with and without the lid
and of course as we know one of the reasons BBQ food tastes so good is the high temps and with the lid on the temps are way way higher and the heat penetrates the inside cooks super quick and even it then remains juicy full of flavour and not dried out
and the outside close to the coals wont burn so easily due to lack of oxygen apparently
