These are the ones I just threw away. Looked perfect but leaked like a sieve. Sent one pair back (to Germany believe it or not) where they said I hadn't waxed them (I had and it was obvious I had) but due to some stitching that had come loose on the heel (on the inside) they replaced them. The new pair done me for two years. I also found them too stiff, my lower legs would start to ache after an hour or so in them.

With proper walking inner fast wicking socks and merino wool outer socks they are fine.
