I had the charcoal version of this for 4 years just perfect in every way
sadly they stopped making it and the new version is bigger more of a square and to bulky

I definitely wouldn't take it along on short sessions Gerry with the propane bottle it does take up a bit of room, small stove every time, but I recently used it on a week long session back in June and it was absolutely spot on. Steaktastic! I even found a welly wipe doubled as a perfect cover 👍

Off topic I know but what bobbins are they? The colour reminds me of some old Fox ones

I replaced my bbq at home to one that doesn't need rocks, you can't clean the things and no matter how long I burnt the things for they still stunk on a hot day, I was binning them after 2 uses

The steak was delicious actually the only depressing point was I had the game on between England and Scotland that night and suffered that lacklustre performance.
As for the bobbins, they aren't anything special just cheap fluro yellow green bobbins bought off ebay, think I paid about £30 for three posted, the guy who made them does various colours and always has some for sale.

I have used the penrocs before, tbh I'm not sure if they really add anything much but they aren't expensive so I thought I'd give it a go.
