I do, various kit markers on key ring, rig pouch zips on doors, back of pod landing net distance sticks etc.
I still have my first isotope which I purchased 35 years ago. Still doing the business.
Internationally there are two companies that manufacture isotopes.

I always like to have "luminous" tags on the zippers on my bivvy door for those rare occasions that I have to zip the door up on a night to keep the rain or mozzies out and it helps me find the zipper quick in the dark if I get a run. But, many years ago, I got my hands on some very large Isotopes and I have them mounted above each side of the door at the top and a couple in the roof of my bivvy, it never gets dark, just a dull green glow inside it all night that cannot be seen from outside.
What I usually use to make "Tags" is luminous plastic sweet corn or luminous popups from Enterprise as they glow almost all night if you use a UV torch on it threaded onto some very thin para cord.
But, when I get round to it, I am going to make some "Tags" using perspex tubing and luminous paint. I renovated some old compasses recently and came across "Aurora Luminous paint" to use on them. With a white base coat and a few blobs of this paint over the top, it glows all night, once again with a UV torch to illuminate it.
