Cheers mate, I don't want to spend a fortune and don't want anything too heavy as my lake is a mission. Can the bag be zipped out to make it a 3 season for the warmer months?

Nope but you can buy an extra 3 season and 1 season Duralite sleeping bag.
Other option is get the 3 season sleepsystem and at a Fox cover for the colder nights
Solar comes with a new 2.55kg sleeping bag combined with a Cover and the solar CH08 bedchair it's lighter than the Duralite 5 season and much better quality.
From around 6:30 you can see why i passed on the Duralite bedchair, if you put the single legs on lock they aren't locked...

On the flatliters and flatliners they lock into place.The end legs on the duralite don't,it's just that cheap feeling plastic part.Im guessing it's to save weight but if you knock the bed they move

Do you not sit on your bed during your time on the bank,they move when sitting on it as that system for the end legs is not very good

I might be going off topic a bit but, I've got the Flat liner bed with the zip on 3 season bag, I brought a VRS cover. about three weeks ago.
It;s transformed it into the warmest bed I have every slept on.
I was out fishing Sunday night, Monday morning the lake had froze over. I was toasty in the bag. Dare I say, it can be to warm sometimes

Ok, am I right in thinking all these sleep systems zip onto the bedchair? So there are only layers on top of the bedchair not below? Iv currently got a cyprinus 5 season bag which you can unzip the inner to make it from 5 to 3 season. I'm not too fussed about the end single legs as Iv only had a 6 leg Beds so they've never been there 😂

You can zip the bags off but you cant zip the top layer off, the zips stops on the feet section, ony thing you can do is buy a 1/3/5 season bag that you can zip on the bedchair or a 1/3 season and use a Cover if needed.

Never had a system, what's the advantage over that compared to a bed with a 5 season bag you can zip out to mage into a 3 and just leave it attached to the bed!?

It is zipped so stays in place better and the bag does not seem to bulge out the sides as much when folded.I have gone to the solar sp c tech bed with fortis bag and a helium 3.8 sim and it is the best set up I have had by a mile

I have just brought the helium 3.8 SIM have you folded the bed up with it still on yet?? Does it deflate easy enough while still under bag??

It stays on my bed all the time,just open the valve,fold your bed and close the valve back up.I have done this ever since having it
