Prices have rocketed due to the ongoing stock and shipping shortages. Container prices from China went up to 10x the normal price a few months ago, therefore anything big suffers from massive additional costs.

Even the cheap brand chairs on eBay that where £40 to £50 are now £100 and more a lot of companies are using Covid as an excuse to put up prices

Also shown in gym equipment as in lockdown they were closed, its just a ploy to squeeze more money out of their products

Yes agree they have seen the rise in people taking up fishing because of Covid it was the only thing you can do in lockdown
EA said they had a 60 per cent increase in rod licenses sale so they think bang the price up all these new anglers won't know the difference the trouble is when it ends the prices won't go down

2 years ago bought two inflatable kayaks for £130 posted for both same one now £150 each plus postage

Same with campers. Two years ago a decent t2 westy could be bought for £15k without too much trouble. Now eBay is fully of rot boxes for £15k and a decent example is suddenly £26k. People are just cashing in on others desperation to get any sort of uk holiday or outdoor pursuit. Sticking £10k on them and still selling them.

Well said the trouble is there's so many willing to blame transportation problems on the price increase
